Ok, I cheated a little bit with this. The whole idea of this blog hop was to make something that you would then gift to someone else, but I am selfishly keeping this wreath all for myself.
There are a ton of amazing patterns in One Thimble Issue 8* and I had a really hard time choosing just one. Hopefully I’ll be doing a few more of them soon! I tried out the Coco Flower Crown pattern* from Molly and Mama and it’s absolutely gorgeous! (She made my cactus hexie wall art and I LOVE how it looks. Check it out here.
The Coco Flower pattern is fantastic, there are patterns to make 13 different flowers and succulents. They are extremely versatile and can be added to so many different items, I love the potted succulent that Lauren made!
I’ve had the same wreath up for almost a year and a half, a baker’s twine wrapped felt flower wreath. It’s held up impressively well, but the flowers were a little bit faded from the sun. So I reused the base and replaced the flowers. I used wool blend felt from Benzie Design, my favorite place to get felt.
There are so many great gift possibilities with the Coco Flower Crown pattern* and I’ll definitely be making more flowers to add to everything!
