Someone needs to save me from myself. Just yesterday I posted about all my current projects, then what do I do? Last night I started yet another one!
I saw this pillow at IKEA and immediately thought it looked like a coloring book and I wanted to stitch on it.
This is going to take awhile, but I find it very relaxing. I’m not obsessing over colors or perfection, I’m just filling it in with various stitches. So far I’ve done back stitch, split stitch, French knots, scallop stitch, and satin stitch. I’m going to use this as an opportunity to try out different stitches.
Have you started any new projects even though you have a lot in progress?

How lovely! Perfect way to practice different stitches without the pressure of a proper sampler (IYKWIM)

Yep yep. When it rains projects, it pours. I can only imagine how many other projects you have in mind too!

Oh wow, that’s brilliant! I want to start one now. Will have to remember this for the next time I go to Ikea!

I had the exact same thought when I first saw this pillow, though I was going to be lazy and paint instead of stitch. Of course, I never did get around to buying it 🙂

Ooh painting it would be neat too!
