I’ve always loved the look of this block and have seen it called both a Bethlehem Star and the Swoon block.
It’s on my list of quilt blocks I want to make, but until I finally do it, I’ll have to settle for this cross stitch pattern version. Between this and my Alternating Stars pattern, I really want to make a huge cross stitch quilt sampler so you can expect more of these!
When stitched on 14ct Aida the block will be 5″ square.
