I’ve added a couple more blocks to my Modern Sewcialites quilt and added some stars.

I wanted to add a few stars to my January block to add some extra shine. I used the Confetti Star Block from During Quiet Time and just printed it at different sizes.

I’m not entirely sure about the March house block, right now it feels a little too intense because of the lack of white. As of right now I’m going to leave it and see if it’s less out of place once more blocks have been added. Otherwise, I’ll go back in and add some windows to it to lighten it up a little.

I’m really loving making these, especially with these Michael Miller solids. I am always drawn to prints, but quilts like this remind me how much fun solids can be too.
