I have two new patterns in the shop!
This vintage camera cross stitch was a Christmas gift for my sister-in-law, she’s in school for photography. I love the look of vintage cameras and I had a hard time choosing which one to stitch, but I love the shade of blue of the Diana.

I’ve also added two new bird patterns to the collection. This one is a red winged blackbird.

I made this barn swallow cross stitch for my mother-in-law for Christmas, I really loved the colors of this bird.

I really enjoy doing the bird cross stitches and I’m hoping to get together another set of 5 patterns. You can see the first set of 5 here. Do you have any suggestions of what bird I should stitch next?

The camera is super cute! I don’t really know much about birds to suggest another pattern, but I do love painted buntings.

I am actually working on a new one! I plan on putting them in the shop but I think I need to rethink how I do my patterns for them. The other ones are more simple and just a grid suffices. I think I might need to use symbols for the space ones so that it’s clearer.

These look brilliant! I love the first set of birds, too – they remind me of home (I’m an American living in the UK!). The UK has so many sweet birds, and a huge following of bird watchers…perhaps you could do a few of them? The robin is so small and darling, the chaffinch is gorgeous, and the goldfinch is a real beaut, with his red face…Chrissie PS I have a stitchy link up on my blog today if you’d be interested…xoxo

Oooh, I had never heard of the chaffinch before. It’s really pretty! That’s definitely going on my list!
