I participated in the Package Pals swap over at C.R.A.F.T. The idea was to send a package of craft supplies to your partner, and you would get one in return.
My partner and I exchanged a lot of emails telling each other about ourselves and what we were interested in trying. So here is what I sent.
Materials to make a felt project I designed. The pattern and tutorial will be online Friday so stay tuned! She mentioned liking working with felt so I thought this would be a fun project to put together for her.
I also ordered a rainbow of colors of wool felt from Benzie. I love their felt and the color choices are fantastic.
She mentioned making headbands for a friend’s baby, so I included flowers and elastic from Boutique Emilee.
And finally, she mentioned an interest in trying kumihimo. I had only recently heard of it because Jen from 52 lasers suggested it as a Twinery project and mentioned making a laser cut disk for it. She had also been wanting to try it. I sent the disk, some plastic bobbins, and some cord to try it out.
I got my package yesterday. I’ve never actually tried pearl cotton before so I’m really curious to see how it’s different from regular embroidery floss.
She also sent a few crafts for Evie which was super sweet.
