There are a few craft magazines in England that I desperately wish I could get in the United States more easily, one of them is Mollie Makes. Thankfully they have a series of books that are readily available, and they are all amazing. The newest book, Mollie Makes Woodland Friends does not disappoint.
I absolutely love the new woodland creature trend, this book has plenty of adorable fox patterns but also has plenty of other fuzzy creatures to make in a variety of crafts. Regardless of your crafting skills, there’s something in this book for everyone. Each project has beautiful pictures and very detailed instructions.
I was thrilled to discover projects by some crafters I love, like Lupin from Bugs and Fishes and Sophie from What Delilah Did, but I was also excited to discover some new crafters as well. I have added a lot of great new craft blogs to my reading list thanks to this book! There is such an amazing selection of projects in so many different styles, but they all work really well together.
I seriously can’t get over how cute some these projects are! Of course as a cross stitching aficionado I am drawn to this squirrel and acorn…
but this fox face mask is so fantastic.
and these book marks are beyond adorable!
It is definitely worth picking up a copy of this book, there are so many great projects. It’s available to preorder and will be out soon!
