  In January, Stephanie from Modern Sewciety launched Modern Sewcialites. The main component is a block of the month, but there's also a recipe, podcasts, a private Facebook community, and more. In addition to the BOM, each month's pattern also has the information to scale the block up to make it into it's own quilt. Modern Sewcialites – February and March

I've added a couple more blocks to my Modern Sewcialites quilt and added some stars. I wanted to add a few stars to my January block to add some extra shine. I used the Confetti Star Block from During Quiet Time and just printed it at different sizes. I'm not entirely sure about the March house block, right now it feels a little too intense because of the lack of white. Modern Sewcialites January Block and other Updates

I always hate being someone that constantly complains about being busy, but things really have been a total whirlwind lately. We've been living in Colorado for over a year now and I absolutely love it here. The girls have made a lot of friends and settled in really well. I've forced myself to get out of my comfort zone and actively pursue opportunities to be social.
