I've done yet another swap, this one was the Nerds Craft It Better swap on Instagram. Sign ups were all the way back in January and the ship date is just now coming up. While I like having plenty of time for swaps I also feel like such a long deadline can be a bad thing and cause you to put things off. Studio Ghibli Swap – What I Got

I was so excited yesterday to come home to find my Studio Ghibli swap package! It was a bit late and I was starting to get pretty antsy seeing all the amazing packages people were getting. Thankfully the package was seriously worth the wait! I got this incredible quilted Toroto bag. The bag is a really nice size and is really well constructed, and I didn't notice this until later but there's a little clip in the inside for keys. Studio Ghibli Swap – What I Sent

I love swaps and when I see a really fun theme, I have a really hard time saying no! I couldn't pass up the Studio Ghibli swap organized by Felice from Sew Scatterbrained.There was a pretty long time between getting our swap partners and the deadline so it was nice to not be too rushed. I love doing swaps and have always toyed with the idea of hosting one but was really daunted by the idea. Last night I was talking with Kristy from Simply This Life about a swap idea and the next thing I knew we had arranged our first swap. The amazing ladies at &stitches did a Secret Santa swap and I had the pleasure to make something for Nicole from Follow the White Bunny. I was really excited about the exchange but also very nervous because I didn't want to send a disappointing package! My Happy Unicorn Swap partner got her package yesterday, so I can finally show it all off! I got my swap package earlier this week, and I was so excited to send this to my partner. I always love sending embroidery floss for swaps, I have such a fun time picking out a color pallet. I've been trying to limit the amount of swaps I sign up for, but every once in awhile I come across one I have to sign up for. On Saturday I got a package from Tiffany of Sew Long Sanity with this amazing mini unicorn quilt. I love the colors and there are so many incredible fabrics she used. Artsy Adopt Swap

Instagram is a dangerous place for me, I just can't help but sign up for these swaps I see there! I keep saying I'm done with them and then I see another that I just can't resist! This most recent one was organized by Paige from Artsy Anthropology as a fundraiser for three families who are adopting. One of the families was a woman I follow on Instagram, LeftyLex.
