This morning we went to Michael’s to pick up some embroidery floss that I needed, and Evie picked out a bag of beads.  She was so excited and kept asking to open them in the store.  I told her we would when we got home.  A few hours later when we pulled into the garage, she immediately started yelling “beads!” So we got a pipe cleaner and she went to town stringing the beads.  This kept her occupied for a good 45 minutes, which for a toddler is an eternity. *No toddlers were left unattended with extremely small beads.  There was always adult supervision. ...
