I’ve been trying to limit the amount of swaps I sign up for, but every once in awhile I come across one I have to sign up for.

On Saturday I got a package from Tiffany of Sew Long Sanity with this amazing mini unicorn quilt.

I love the colors and there are so many incredible fabrics she used. I’ve never done paper piecing but it’s on my list of new things I want to try next year.

One of the swap requirements was to send a “unicorn item,” something rare or hard to find. Tiffany sent me this Heather Ross fabric, it’s amazing. However, I’m absolutely paralyzed with fear at the idea of using it.

I’m done with swaps for awhile (I know I always say that!) but I’m sure that come 2015 I’ll start signing up for more again. I can’t wait for my partner to get hers and to hear what she thinks! It’s always so exciting and nerve wracking to do a swap!
