CraftersCrate Review and Giveaway

CraftersCrate Review and Giveaway from Hugs are Fun

I don’t know about all of you, but I love subscription boxes. Getting packages is already fun and I love adding the surprise element to the mix. Evie is obsessed with the idea of getting mail but since she’s only 4, it doesn’t happen all that often. So when the CraftersCrate came for us to review, Evie was extremely excited.

The first thing you see opening the box is an envelope containing a map, each different area is a kit theme. This particular kit was Safari. There is a storybook, packet with games, activities, and puzzles, a sticker for your map, and then all the supplies for the crafts.

I expected there to be one craft so I was pleasantly surprised to find four different projects. There was an elephant disguise kit, binoculars, a fishing game, and a spider web lacing activity.

The kit contains a storybook with the adventures of the Crafters Crew who are taking part in an elephant race. In order to compete they have to make an elephant disguise and solve different puzzles along the way. You follow along with the story and create crafts to help them.

It’s a really cute concept and it’s well executed. The supplies are good quality and everything you need to do the crafts is included so you don’t need to go around searching for glue or tape to complete the crafts.

Evie had a really great time with this and has been carrying the map around with us everywhere we go. The binoculars, elephant ears, and map have been in our car all week in case she needs them when we go out.

CraftersCrate is aimed at kids 5-10 but Evie didn’t have any problem with doing the crafts and she is 4. We did the box when Mira was napping though because I didn’t feel like it would be easy to do with a 2 year old around.

So check out CraftersCrate and if you use the promo code HUGS10 to sign up you will save $10. There is free shipping to the US but there is additional shipping for Canada ($5.99/month) and everywhere else ($11.99/month). I have a CraftersCrate to give away to any of my readers, US or international! Sign up below using Rafflecopter for a chance to try out CraftersCrate free. Just leave a comment telling me if you’ve tried any subscription boxes and for additional bonus entries check out the Hugs are Fun and CraftersCrate Facebook pages!

Please note: I was provided with a free CraftersCrate for review but all opinions are my own.

I haven’t tried any of the subscription services because I usually have so many supplies around the house already. This looks like a great idea for families with fewer supplies on hand though. And as a homeschooling mom, I can see something like this being really great for moms that don’t like organizing art projects for their kids but still want to do them.
