I love the response there has been to the Doodle Stitchalong. I’ve had a couple people link up posts, and quite a few participants on Instagram! If you haven’t started, it’s not too late!
Don’t feel like you have to finish it or like there is any pressure, it’s just meant to be fun!
I hadn’t worked on my own in awhile, so on Easter when we took a little road trip I brought it along. It was a great project to work on in the car, just stitching without thinking too much.
I used some variegated thread and I really love the effect. I might need to play around with more colors.
Have you been doing any doodle stitching?
When I first saw your post, I thought it was one of those zen-tangle projects and then I realized it had embroidery details. I guess I should have figured that out from the title. Love the concept, so fun!
I’ve had a lot of people comment that it looks like a zentangle! It’s been a lot of fun to work on!
I wasn’t sure what part of the design would be stitched, now that I see some samples, I may give it a whirl.
Where do I find the image to copy and embroider?
I just used a patterned fabric. There are people who are using a variety of different patterned fabrics!
