Flower POW Mug Rug Completed!

Diane from CraftyPod is directly responsible for my English paper piecing hexagon obsession. So when she recently release some EPP patterns using other shapes, I had to try them out!

I bought this Flower POW Mug Rug pattern and while I’ve only finished one so far, I have four others in progress. I can’t stop making them, they are so fun! I’ve done triangles before, but diamonds and curves are completely new to me.

The pattern comes with fantastic photos and illustrations and is really well written and easy to follow. Plus, Diane has included links to all her YouTube tutorials in the PDF as well.

I hope everyone I know likes them, because everyone is getting one for Christmas. Because serious, I cannot stop making them!

Diane also has a couple other amazing patterns, the gemstone pillow continues to blow me away. Plus right now she’s doing a giveaway to win solid fabric to make your own.

I can see how these would be addictive–they’re gorgeous, and it’s always great to work on something that finishes in a reasonable amount of time. Thanks for sharing! I really may have to make some of these before Christmas as well. 🙂

Yes! That’s what I love about these, they aren’t too terribly time consuming. I’m getting quicker as I go too!
I’m going to give a little set of a mug rug and a fabric coffee sleeve.

Love these, so cute. Just got the pattern, hoping it will help me with diamond epp’s, I haven’t had the best of luck with them in the past!! I’m sure your mug rugs will be loved, they are too cute and useful not to be.
