I think this might have been the first embroidery project I’ve ever done. I started it maybe 2 or 3 years ago, I’m not even sure when it was.
I remember why I put it aside though. I started getting to the small states on the east coast and they were getting a lot harder to do with this stitch outline and I got frustrated.
I can’t decide if I should just finish it or if I should start over in a different style. I would like to have a stitched map!
Have you recently rescued any long forgotten projects?
I think you should finish it…it would look great as a companion piece with the 50 States Stitching Club quilt!
Maybe I can make an enormous map and stitch all the stitching club designs on their respective states!
This is so cute!!!!!! You should totally finish it. I mean you’re so close! I’m channeling you some motivation

Thanks! I just can’t decide if it is worth finishing one I don’t love completely but is almost done or if I should start over and hope to do a better job.
I have so many of these long, lost projects! I might have to go digging in the closet this week. I love this piece–I hope you find a way to enjoy it again!
New follower here, I think this is so cute! I would totally finish it! I have a US Map project that I want to do. I just need to get started on mine.
And I agree that it would be perfect along with the 50 States embroidery project
love it! finish for sure,
I love this!!! You should definitely finish it! I agree with Mollie, it would go great with her stitching club
Oh yes, finish it, you are nearly there. What are you going to use it for? Will it go on the wall, or make a fabulous cushion cover or something else?
I had planned on putting it on the wall, but it might be nice as a pillow!
You definitely need to finish it because it’s so pretty!
i think you should finish it! id love to do a big embroidered map (should we ever have the wall space for one…)
I’m tempted to just start over on a bigger one that I would like more instead of finishing one I don’t love.
