A Pigeon Party – Craft Time

Mo Willems Pigeon Paper Plate Theme Craft by Hugs are FunI wanted to have a Pigeon themed craft, and there’s nothing Evie likes better than a chance to use glue sticks. I saw a link on Pinterest to a Pigeon made with a paper plate and decided to make some changes of my own.

There are a few PDFs that you can download with Pigeon coloring pages and activities. The best part is that they are vector files, so I decided to work with the great quality images I had at my disposal.

What you need:
Templates for Pigeon’s head and wings (download PDF here)
Paper plates cut in half
Glue sticks
Crayons, markers, paint – anything to get that Pigeon colored

Evie was more interested in coloring Pigeon with glue sticks than with markers or crayons, but I think he turned out pretty cute.

And just because I want to show them off again, here’s the Pigeon and Duckling I drew on the chalkboard wall in our kitchen.
