I really love making Christmas gifts but I’m not great with time management. Last year I was finishing up a project on Christmas Eve and this year I am determined to avoid that. So in a completely uncharacteristic move, I’ve started Christmas gifts already.
I haven’t sat down and made a complete list of what I want to make, but I have started a couple things and that’s a huge step for me.
Have you started thinking about Christmas gifts? How early do you start planning?
I need to start mine too! I am always cramming to get them done the last week, although not Christmas Eve yet 🙂 Congrats on starting early!!
I think I started mine around July. I get distracted easily so, starting early is a good thing. Plus I am always adding things to do.
This reminds me that I need to get started on my Christmas crafting. I’m such a slow crafter, and I do want to make a few things this year. Planning gifts is now on my to-do list for this week!
I need a better plan of everything I want to make so I can manage my time well. I want to try to get the more labor intensive projects out of the way early!
Planned, started and about half-way finished! Like you, I used to struggle with time management (I had a habit of finishing at least one quite a bit after Christmas) so I decided to be really on the ball this year, and I’m loving it!
You were my inspiration for getting started early! Seeing that you had started your gifts got my butt in gear! I haven’t finished anything yet but I already feel great about where I am!
These are looking lovely! I’ve started (uncharacteristically) early too this year. I’ve learnt that it’s really never too early to get stuck in with Christmas projects. Two things are almost done. Going to draw up a proper plan this week 🙂 x
I need a better plan. Right now I have 7 projects in progress but haven’t finished any yet! I have actual Christmas projects I would like to do, but those are harder to get in the mood for. It feels too weird to be stitching Santa in September!
I really need to start my shopping. I hate to even think that Christmas is just around the corner!
I can’t believe October is already here! I haven’t really started a big picture plan for Christmas but I’m trying to at least start planning a little bit!
