This is another activity that we did at storytime at Culture Stock in downtown Aurora. Each week has a theme for the stories and then a related craft. These week’s books were on cars and trucks and there was a fun activity to go with it.

What you need are:
Paper
Paint
Paper plate
Assorted cars and trucks

Squeeze a little bit of paint on the paper plate and have your toddler drive the car on the plate to cover the tires. Then drive the car along the paper.
Experiment with different cars and trucks. Pick out ones with varying sized tires to see the different textures and marks they make. If you have bigger cars, this could also be a fun outdoor activity with a really big piece of paper.
