My Save the UFOs campaign is not going great, I didn’t finish anything rom my list in March and April isn’t looking very promising either. I did start a pretty big project though that I’m absolutely in love with.
Despite having two hexie EPP quilts in progress, I started another. I love this because it only uses a couple colors and the placement is random so it’s a really mindless project. I keep a pouch full of pink, red, and orange hexies ready to be basted, and then another full of ones that are done. I just grab and start attaching without thinking about it too much. It’s already getting to be a pretty substantial size.
It’s gotten so big it’s lost the portability, so I’ve been joining them into hexie flowers and then attaching those to the bigger quilt.
I haven’t decided on a finished final size. I’ve just been trying to join evenly on each side and I figure I’ll work until I get sick of it. But I am so in love with the cheery colors that I don’t see that happening any time soon!
Have you started any new projects lately?

You’re at that stage where it begins to get cumbersome, but also satisfying to see how large it has grown! Love the colors and fabrics!

Yes, it’s a great feeling! It’s a little more awkward to join but so, so satisfying!
