I've gotten multiple requests to sell the patterns I used for the Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan cross stitches I made. I don't feel comfortable making money off them like that, so here are the patterns for free. When cross stitched on 14ct Aida they fit in a 6" hoop. Free Pattern Friday – Geometric Arrows

geometricarrows

I went through a big geometric cross stitch kit a few years back. Most of them I would do without a pattern and I loved how little I had to think about it, it was so repetitive. I have a box with dozens of them. The finished cross stitch is only about 3" x 5" but you could continue repeating to make it as big as you want. Whenever I do rainbow for my cross stitches I just grab any colors I have in that shade. Usually I'm lazy and pick whatever is already cut and split into three strands! Free Pattern Friday – Origami Crane

crane-hexie

I've been slowly moving along with my 1000 crane quilt. I've been trying to dedicate a bit of time every day to stitching them, I really keep to be finishing them at a more steady rate if I have any hope of finishing them by my 2018 goal. I've gotten a huge amount of interest and support for my project on Instgram and I've had multiple requests for the pattern. I've emailed it to a few people but I figured I would post it here for anyone who wants a copy. The crane is about 2" high and 2.5" wide and fits on a 1.5" hexagon, but you can scale it to any size ... Read More

Free Pattern Friday – Bunny

bunny-pattern

This month's Free Pattern Friday really snuck up on me, but I realized I had a pattern I never shared that happens to be perfect for spring. I made this bunny hoop for a friend's daughter awhile back. The actual hoop is 6", but the bunny is only about 2.5" tall so it stitches up really quickly. (Please note: Affiliate links are indicated by an asterisk*) I used Water Soluble Cross Stitch Canvas* when I stitched this up. Water soluble canvas is by far one of my favorite cross stitch tools. Free Pattern Friday – Coffee Love

coffeelove

I am relatively new to the coffee drinking scene. Somehow I managed to survive the first three years of Evie's life without coffee. But now things are different, it didn't take long for me to become a "don't talk to me before I've had my coffee" person. My Tea Love cross stitch pattern is consistently my most popular, so I figured I would expand the caffeine love to coffee. When stitched on 14 ct Aida the final piece is about 5.5" so it should fit into a 6" hoop. Download the PDF here – Coffee Love Cross Stitch Pattern There are more free patterns to ... Read More

Free Pattern Friday – Tiny Cross Stitches

I had an idea awhile back to make a series of tiny cross stitch patterns. My initial thought was that they could go on a hexagon, but they're so tiny you could stitch them on almost anything. Each of these are only about 1.5" when stitched on 14 ct. Aida.
