I have been seeing a lot of deer popping up on fabric and on my Instagram feed, most notably from tinkerellen. I decided to make a silhouette cross stitch pattern for this month's Free Pattern Friday. A few weeks ago I had an idea for a necklace with tiny, fabric hexagons. I had made some English paper pieced .25" hexagons and they were absolutely adorable, but so light that I didn't think they would work as a necklace. I turned to Jennifer from 52 Lasers with a laser cutting request and she produced an awesome pendant.
