My swap package came Friday and I was lucky enough to get a pouch from Susi at Lila Louise! The pouch is gorgeous and the package was also full of tons of goodies from Germany! The fabrics are fantastic, especially this cross stitch one! I will probably hoard it away because I'll be too nervous to use it for anything. Lotion and Sugar Scrub Making – Whimseybox Review

Whimseybox is a craft subscription box, but they also sell a huge variety of craft supplies. I received a box to review and was really excited to see what the project was. This month's kit was to make a lemon honey lotion and sugar scrub. Everything was extremely well designed and packaged beautifully. Opening the box was truly like opening a present, there was even a ribbon holding it all together. Dumpling Pouch Swap!

Susi from Lila Luise organized a swap on Instagram to make a dumpling pouch and fill it with fabric and candy. I signed up even though I seriously doubted my ability to make the pouch, but Susi insisted that I would be fine. The pattern for the dumpling pouch is free to download. This is actually my first completed English paper piecing project and I love it. I used 3/4" hexagons and joined them all into a piece of fabric large enough to cover the interfacing. A Little English Paper Pieced Flower

I had an idea in my head that I wanted to try out. I have been making so many English paper pieces hexagons, I wanted to try out another shape. And not just any shape, I wanted to try a custom shape. I thought a geometric tulip would be fun, and after my tulip plush I've had spring on my mind! I drew the shape out on paper and then made a template in Illustrator to get more crisp shapes. Laser Cut Peacock Floss Organizer!

I have a couple fun things to share this week, but they aren't ready yet. In the meantime I thought I would show off this awesome floss organizer. It was a 52Lasers project and I absolutely love it. I used it to put all the colors for my current embroidery project which you can see a little sneak peek of. A friend from college does a Plush Club in Kansas City and recently posted a photo of a flyer for a plant themed plush club challenge. I haven't really ever made any plushes before, but I loved the idea of trying. MiniEco: A Craft Book by Kate Lilley is so much fun! Kate's blog, also named MiniEco, is consistently filled with fantastic craft projects and ideas and the aesthetic is so bright and colorful. The book is no different, the projects are extremely fun and varied.
