A few months ago Josh sent me this amazing Kickstarter for a campaign to start a Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan museum in a Brooklyn apartment. We backed the campaign for $5 because we desperately wanted to see the video with curators Matt and Viviana showing off the museum. Foundation paper piecing has been on my to do list for months and months but I have been really nervous to try it. I've looked at guides and I just could not wrap my head around how it worked. I love swaps and when I see a really fun theme, I have a really hard time saying no! I couldn't pass up the Studio Ghibli swap organized by Felice from Sew Scatterbrained.There was a pretty long time between getting our swap partners and the deadline so it was nice to not be too rushed. Rainbow Quilt Update!

It's been awhile before I had any sort of update on the status of my rainbow quilt. It's a very, very slow moving project and I'm working on it in a kind of backwards way. I used this hexagon quilt calculator to figure out how many I needed and the grand total was 3284. I ended up with a lot more than that though because I wasn't paying attention and made a couple hundred too many in some colors and had to play catch up to get enough of the others. Felt Plush Carrot Pattern

Evie loves Sofia the First and asked me recently to make a carrot for her stuffed bunny from the show, Clover. It was a simple little project and didn't take me long and I figured I'd put together a pattern in case anyone else wants to make a little carrot plush, especially with Easter coming up.
