The credit for this pattern goes to my husband Josh. He told me he had an idea for a pattern that he was going to make, and it just so happened to coincide with Free Pattern Friday. Regional Candy Swap!

Heidi over at My Paper Crane organized a really fun candy swap. Everyone got a partner from another geographic area and had the task of buying candy specific to where you live. My partner was Lesley in Pennsylvania, you can find her design site here. Of course the first thing that came to mind for me was Ferrara Pan, we pass the factory when we drive into Chicago. WIP Wednesday – Hexagon Update

I have so many things up in the air right now, my WIP pile is kind of out of control. I have four hexagon projects right now. The first is the blanket I've been working on, then there's Wild Olive's spring stitching club, and two secret projects. I have officially crossed the halfway mark, I have 991. And I think it's about time for me to switch to a new page in the book and I'm also going to need a new box soon! Stitch A Day – February Update

It's been awhile since I showed off my stitch a day project. I have a confession, I have had to play catch up a couple times. It's been harder than I expected to keep up with doing a stitch a day. Despite the back being a mess, I am in love with how it looks. I actually think I like it better than the front. Embroidered Shoes!

I bought myself a pair of shoes months ago with the intention of stitching on them, but like so many of my projects I just couldn't decide what to do. So I decided to get a pair of shoes for Evie and stitch those to get myself inspired. I used a water soluble marker and drew some designs on them. I made it up as I went along, and once I did the first shoe I just copied it onto the second. I picked a colorful pallet, I wasn't going to limit myself! Darby Smart Alcohol Ink Coasters

I reviewed the December Darby Smart To DIY For box and loved it. I've been lucky enough to be sent several others (that I still need to do!) When I got my February box, I forgot about all my other projects and just had to try it out! It was a coaster set using alcohol inks designed by Rachel from 52 Weeks Project.
